The Source of Revelation:- Through :- (a) the audible voice of God; (b) Angels; (c) the Holy Prophets (d) Vision ; (e) dreams (f) inspiration; (g) the gifts of the spirit; (h) the written word; (I) divine intervention.

HOW TO DRAW RHEMA FROM LOGOS: -
We must rely on Holy Spirit, Jn.14: 17&26.; Jn.15:26;16:13; I Cor. 2:9-11.

THE VOICES:-

There are there major kinds of voices:-
The voice of God:- Jesus spoke about the shepherd and his sheep. The sheep must identify the voice of its shepherd. (a) The voice of God is gentle. (b) God speaks in a still small voice . Ps. 4:4. (c) The voice of God gives peace in the heart. (d) The voice of God gives direction. (e) The voice of God gives rest.

Step 1:- Commence with prayer. Ask for inspiration, illumination and spirit of revelation. Ephe. 1:17.
Step 2:- Free your heart from self-will, anxiety and fear. II Tim. 1:7; Rom. 8:15.
Step 3:- Prepare a written materials, book, pen etc.
Step 4:- Follow the guide (daily guide, daily devotion guide). Open the Bible, turn to the chapter for the day and read.
Step 5:- Listen to the prompt of the Holy Spirit.
Step 6:- From where you read:-
(a) What are the key words or phrases that dropped to your heart.
List what God wants you to know.
Search for parallel scriptures. (In the mouth of two witnesses).
Pray for guidance to carry out the plans of God.

THE SYMBOLS OF THE WORD OF GOD
The Bible uses symbols to describe the word of God. These symbols express the characteristics.
SEEDS:- I Peter 1:23; Mk. 4:13-14; seeds are planted on the good soil, germinate and produce more seed. Matt. 13:8;23. The Word of God is regarded as incorruptible seed.
WATER:- Ephe. 5:26; Psalm 119:9. The body of Christ has to be washed and cleansed. The Old Testament priests washed and cleansed themselves by the water of the laver. This water is the "Word of God" which the believers use for cleansing.
FIRE:- Jer. 23:29; Deu. 4:24; Heb. 12:29. Fire purges. It purifies. For the body of Christ to be purged and purified, the Word of God is needed.
HAMMER:- Jer. 23:29. Hammer is used to break an object into pieces. The Word of God breaks you down in order to demolish the old man in you in order to bring forth the new man in you.
